SEO that brings buyers.
Websites that deserve them.
I'm Nikhil Kalia, an SEO consultant and web developer. I've run search campaigns in some of the most contested markets in the US, UK and Australia since 2009 — and I build the websites and stores that convert the traffic once it arrives.

What I do
Most agencies either design sites nobody finds, or chase rankings for sites nobody wants to buy from. I do both halves, which is why they compound. Search comes first here, because it is what keeps working month after month — but a site that cannot convert makes the rankings worthless.
Search engine
optimisation
Rankings only matter when they bring buyers. I start from the searches people make right before they spend money, then earn those positions and hold them for years.
- Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals
- Intent-led keyword and competitor research
- Content built to rank and convert
- Genuine editorial links, never bought
- Monthly reporting on enquiries, not vanity metrics
Custom website design
and development
No templates, no page-builder bloat. Designed around how your business sells, built to load fast, structured for search from day one.
- Brand-led visual design
- Hand-built development
- Core Web Vitals handled during the build
Ecommerce
development
Stores built for conversion and for search. Product architecture and technical SEO baked in, not bolted on a year later.
- Search-led category architecture
- Custom builds over subscription stacks
- Migration without losing rankings
Software and
web applications
Custom tools built when off-the-shelf software doesn't fit how you actually work.
- Billing systems and dashboards
- Client portals and workflow tools
- Python, React, Node.js, Django
Selected work
Thirteen years in one of the toughest local markets in the US
Three sites across the New York tri-state area and Indianapolis, under continuous SEO since 2013 — surviving every algorithm update rather than chasing wins that reset the following year.
A catalogue that stays navigable as it grows
A B2B ecommerce platform built around the catalogue rather than a template. At that scale the structure matters more than the styling — a category tree that works at six hundred products falls apart at six thousand.
Built to win trade buyers, not browsers
Among the leading signage operators in the Greater Toronto Area. Their buyers are contractors and property developers — a completely different sale, and a site built to survive supplier comparison.
The system that brings work in, and the one that invoices for it
Built the site, the search visibility that brings work through it, and the billing software the workshop runs on — designed together rather than bolted to each other.
How we work together
Discover
Your business, your competitors, your search landscape — and where the opportunity actually sits.
Plan
An agreed scope with priorities, timelines and what success looks like in numbers.
Build
Design, development and technical work shipped in order of impact.
Grow
Monthly reporting on what moved and what comes next. No jargon, no vanity metrics.
I don't keep fixed office hours. My clients run from Australia to the US west coast, so I schedule around each project rather than around a clock. Written updates you can read without a meeting, calls in your own timezone, and a scope agreed in writing before anything starts.
No account managers, no handoffs to juniors once the contract is signed. I quote the project and I build it. The trade-off is real and worth stating: I take fewer projects at once than an agency can.
Working with businesses in Punjab
Alongside international work I take on a limited number of local clients — businesses in Punjab that want a site which competes properly and customers who can actually find them. I'm based in Jalandhar and happy to meet in person.
There's a specific advantage worth naming: I've spent seventeen years building for buyers in the US, UK and Australia. If you're a Punjab manufacturer or exporter trying to reach those markets, that's the whole problem — and it's the one I've been solving for other people's clients all along.
Tell me what you're building or trying to grow.
I'll come back with an honest read on what's possible — whether or not it turns into a project.
